Every TV character is adapted or copied from someone in real life. The famous character of “Abou Abdo” from  MTV’s Ma Fi Metlo is definitely taken from a man located at 43 km from Beirut. His real name is Abou Charbel. He is a very humble person who has a van-stand selling manakish Sajj on the sea road.

Although the character of Abou Abdo shows an unhygienic person in all his episodes, Abou Charbel is clean in the food he is offering. He opens everyday from 6:00 AM until the 100 pieces of dough are over, then he packs his van and leaves. You should pay him a visit to see what i mean.
