#MyTakeOn is a purely subjective opinion based on personal observation and analysis. Far from being affiliated to any political agenda and preference to any local or foreign individual, party or group. It filters out conspiracy theories that circulated among the mass with the objective of discrediting any opposite opinion to the single-narrative.
Let’s begin by stating that these findings and thoughts are based on personal research & observation without any medical or lab background whatsoever; and to affirm the existence of a “corona virus” without alluding to any conspiracy theories that spread around and caused more harm in allowing a room for discussion that differs from the presented single-narrative.
The Chinese Model
In October 2019, a conference gathering different medical, governmental, big pharma and media representatives aimed to simulate the preparedness of what might happen if there was a severe pandemic. The “Event 201” demonstrated a number of these important gaps in pandemic preparedness as well as some of the elements of the solutions between the public and private sectors that needed to be filled1. The conference ended with a list of recommendations and call-to-action set by the three main organizations: The Gates Foundation, WEF and JH Health Center; with one particular passage that depicts what was about to happen “The next severe pandemic will not only cause great illness and loss of life but could also trigger major cascading economic and societal consequences that could contribute greatly to global impact and suffering”2.

At that time, no one would have shown any interest in such warnings or though of any upcoming planned scheme. Two months later in mid-December a report from China mentioned cases of a bizarre illness happening in a Chinese town. The world couldn’t care less amidst the end of year holidays, and by coincidence the Chinese authorities issues the first official statement about an “unknown virus” on the morning of December 31, 2019.
The world mass reaction wasn’t getting through as expected, although many reports were issued by the Chinese to their American and European counterparts, which labelled it as a “viral pneumonia” and a Chinese fake news as Trump declared. All the news filling the western media were coming from China, with more extensive terms and vocabulary used to attract public’s attention. Wuhan, SARS, MERS, Bat, Lab, Live Animals Market, Novel Virus, etc…everyone was becoming interested, but despite turning the spotlight on the first death in every major Chinese city like Shanghai, Wuhan and Shenzhen city the global agitation was still not initiated as desired.
The Italian Job
China’s media dissemination was not doing the required impact, and there was a need to move the hazard into other continents, that’s when Italy out of the blue declared its first death from this mysterious Chinese virus on December 31, 2020.
Setting the story was easy. An Italian tourist coming from a visit to China encountered severe fever and symptoms due to unknown virus and died suddenly. The European media was shaken by this news, which was followed by live coverage of any case of flu in the country; Elderly, terminally-ill, coma and cancer patients were all marked as death by the virus; this led to a nationwide coverage of any death that occurred in nursing homes.
Trento
Trento was among the first cities to implement full lockdown measures, setting an example for the rest of Europe. Fear quickly escalated as images of overwhelmed hospitals and exhausted medical staff flooded television screens and social media. The flu hit elderly centers and each nonagenarian death was highlighted and boosted online.
By mid-February, the narrative had shifted entirely, transforming what was initially deemed a local outbreak in Wuhan into an impending global catastrophe. Panic was brewing, and the pharmaceutical industry was watching closely, anticipating its golden opportunity.
The Media Frenzy
Mainstream media, acting in unison, began amplifying the fear factor. News anchors and health experts repeated grim statistics, emphasizing rising death tolls, despite little distinction being made between deaths “with” COVID-19 and deaths “from” COVID-19. The psychological pressure on the global population was immense, as people were forced to isolate themselves while being subjected to an endless barrage of distressing headlines. The phrase “new normal” was introduced, subtly conditioning individuals to accept restrictions on their freedoms as a necessary trade-off for “public safety.”
Enter Big Pharma
By mid-2020, the search for a vaccine became the primary focus. Governments funneled billions into pharmaceutical giants like Pfizer, Moderna, and AstraZeneca under the guise of “Operation Warp Speed” and similar programs. Regulatory agencies abandoned traditional long-term clinical testing protocols, granting emergency use authorization at unprecedented speeds. The narrative left no room for skepticism; any criticism of the vaccine rollout was quickly dismissed as “misinformation,” and dissenting voices were silenced or discredited. Social media platforms, in coordination with governments and fact-checking organizations, aggressively censored alternative viewpoints. Facebook was the prime example, along with public shaming if one ever doubt or question the given narrative.
The Economic Shift
While small businesses collapsed under the weight of lockdowns, multinational corporations thrived. E-commerce giants like Amazon experienced record profits, as people were forced to rely on online shopping. Tech companies reaped the benefits of remote work transitions, and pharmaceutical firms capitalized on continuous booster shot recommendations. The pandemic effectively redistributed wealth on a massive scale, consolidating power into the hands of a select few industries while decimating local economies worldwide.
The Aftermath
As the crisis “eased” with the gradual lifting of restrictions, cracks in the narrative began to emerge. Whistleblowers from within medical and governmental institutions started raising concerns about data manipulation, vaccine efficacy misrepresentation, and conflicts of interest within regulatory agencies. Despite this, the fear-driven mindset had already been deeply ingrained in many populations, making it difficult to reverse course.
Conclusion
The COVID-19 pandemic was not merely a public health emergency; it was a meticulously orchestrated exercise in mass psychological manipulation. The uniformity of the response across nations, the suppression of alternative viewpoints, and the financial windfall experienced by pharmaceutical and tech conglomerates point to a much deeper agenda than simple viral containment. The world was thrust into a grand experiment—one that exposed the sheer power of media control and the extent to which fear can be weaponized to enforce compliance. Whether the lessons of this period will be remembered or conveniently erased remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: the consequences of this orchestrated event will shape global policies and societal norms for years to come.
